Farmer Willie Williams Joins GOPA Board

New board member, Willie Williams, and GOPA board chair, Ronny Shingler.

Willie Williams of Early County has accepted a position on the board of directors of the Georgia Organic Peanut Association (GOPA). A lifelong farmer, Williams is new to Certified Organic production. He says he was attracted to GOPA after witnessing the experience of other farmers in the cooperative and the appreciable economic and environmental returns of farming organically.
